Dilation at 35 weeks?

Tomorrow I will be 35+3 weeks pregnant and have my first dilation check. This is my second pregnancy and with my first I never dilated until they finally induced me and it still took two full days for me to dilate. What are the odds of having any dilation tomorrow? Should I be able to dilate on my own this time? Fingers crossed.. also, my first baby ended up weighing 6lb 5oz, not sure if that has anything to do with why I didn't dilate (since she was small).

It depends if your body and baby are ready. Try an exercise ball or gym ball to help encrouge baby to move head down into the pelvis this may help with dialation
