Still, testing may give you peace of mind later down the road. And thouhg ash1221 was trying to comfort you with saying you can't get pregnant on the pill, that is not wholly true. I'm about a month along and I conceived while taking the pill regularly and not on antibiotics. I'm not trying to scare or upset you, but you do need to know that the possibility, how ever slim, does exist. Now does that mean that that happened to you, probably not. ITs a 1% chance that it will happen (you know I really should go for the lottery with these odds.) Still I'd say when you period gets close watch yourself, if you don't have one, do a test. You're probably just paranoid is all :-) we've all been there a time or two!
I would say that if your are taking your birth control pills correctly that there is no chance that you could be pregnant. Even though you are saying that your periods are irregular, I feel sure that that would not affect the pill working properly, as long as you take it correctly. Is there a chance that you could be pregnant if you are not taking the pill daily, I would say yes, and if you're thinking there is a possibility you could be pregnant I would stop taking the pill to prevent damage to the baby. I'm surprised that your periods are irregular even though you are on the pill. Usually the pill gives you regular periods. Is your doctor aware of that issue? Good luck hun!!
thank you and i know when my period is due but its not for another month basically cuz i started taking a new pack of birth control this sunday...i just had my irregular period and i had sex during my period although i was not bleeding...do u think i could be pregnant?
I would wait 14 days after sex to test. You said you don't know when your period is due? When was your last period?
