I Need help and Adult input, teenage mother in need!

Hi, i haven't been on here in a while because I was put through alotttttttttttttt these past months. Im now 7months pregnant, almost 8. I'm 18 years old but still living with my mother. She isnt stable herself.. we were supposed to relocate to Greenville, SC but that didn't work out. She has a section 8 voucher and they're telling her she won't be able to get her own apartment or house until December 1st. I'm due January 6th, I planned a baby shower and CANNOT be homeless until December 1st. Because I am 18, i am eligible for foodstamps, WIC, and all other help programs but its HARD finding a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom ANYWHERE. She decided to come to Carteret, NJ to be closer to the family for help and this is where I am now. Anyone know any idea on help I could recieve for low income housing or a short cut to a section 8 voucher or anyone willing to help with housing for me? Im the type that would work and pay rent on time and everything, the waiting lists are 10 years!!!!!! Please help ..

If all else fails try income based housing . My cousin was pregnant & not workin so her rent was reduced to just $8 because her only income was SSI

go to your local assistance office up here in the poconos they give pregnant women housing free that is 3 house or more from jersey

Thank you and yes, I know its soooo much easier down south but I rather be up here with family. Its just so hard living place to place until december 1st. & then people want to buy me things and I have to say at a later date because I have no where to put anything. I need help :( I'll fill out applications and hopefully something pushes me up on the waiting lists. 10 years is a long time, I wont need any help by then!

Girl find a cheap apartment for you and the baby. Ifall else fails ask family for help if i was in a better position my self id help you but I'm way down south. I know in Texas you can get a 1 bedroom for 470-480 depending on income andi know the lady who works in the section 8 office in Dallas. Things will work their way out i promise. If you need anything I'm here for you.
