haha theres no way they could do that with Kill Bill so you might not want to try that one lol. no possible way... however the Seventh Sign is like a religious movie about the end times and it is really really really good, in fact i think a lot of women on here would enjoy it whether ttc or already parents because Demi in the movie had been through some miscarriages and was struggling with that... oh my gosh its so good
I love Terms of Endearment and Evening Star!!! I don't have them anymore, though. Never saw Seventh Sign! I never saw Kill Bill either!!! If they have a lot of language in them, I usually don't watch them though (personal preference)! The story lines sound good!!!
Did you know there is a company who will take movies and make them G-rated (basically) by cutting out all the junk. They're so professional you can't even tell!!! I've never bought one of those movies (and it's all legit and legal, too) but that's pretty stinkin' cool!
its an oldie but goodie and im sure you all have seen it but it came on yesterday and i cried my eyes out--Terms of Endearment! its sad sad sad, not really all about moms but its got a lot to do with it though. "Give my daughter the DAMN SHOT!" haha! the second part is called the evening star. i also like the movie Seventh Sign with Demi Moore, she gives her son life at the end knowing it will end her own and if you dont choke up when she does i dont know! ALSO! haha Not Without My Daughter, with Sally Feild about being stuck with her ******* husband in i think its Iraq. anyway he wont let them leave and she has to go through HELL to sneak them out. ok one more- Kill Bill :) not really mom movie material but well it really is all about her daughter. if you havent seen it, her ex beats the crud out of her and shoots her in the head while shes almost full term with their kiddo, she comes out of the coma, and fights her way back to him and kicks his butt, and gets her baby back.
I didn't see that one! Speaking of that actress, I still want to see 27 Dresses (can you tell I don't get out much???)!
Hey, I got a good pregnancy movie. "Knocked Up" with Katherine Heigl in it. I watched it while I was first home from my back surgery and I thought it was quite funny.
DH didn't like City of Angels (but he's a minister so I think the whole idea of angels falling in love was the turn-off). We just bought How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and I think he liked it too because he kept telling me to be quiet if I was talking!
But I didn't do this to my DH. He was like this when I found him! He got me into Anne of Green Gables, too. Don't worry, he's not gay! LOL! He is just a sensitive sap but he won't admit this to his friends!!!
i haven't seen that movie advertised.....but i don't watch much tv!!! I'll have to keep an eye out for it!
That is hilarious!! My hubby likes City of Angels. OH!! and How to lose a guy in 10 days..I think I got to him..lol
Ha ha ha!!! Guess what my DH's favorite movie is??? Sleepless in Seattle!!!
There are some good lifetime movies. I love lifetime and my hubby claims he hates it but he really gets into them when we watch them together..
Last time I went to the movies was to see National Treasure 2 (which I didn't even like). My DH likes SNL/MADTV so he MIGHT see this movie with me. I might have to make it a Girls Night Out movie. Wish you lived close to me! We could go!!!
Yea that's when it comes out here too. I just home my DH will be home then. We haven't went to the movies in FOREVER....I think he's finally gonna be home this weekend...(been gone for three weeks!!) I can't WAIT....
I know!!! When DH gets home I'm going to tell him we need to make a date night. Comes to theatre April 25th here!
omg!! I want to see Baby Momma SO bad..i can't wait till it hits the theater...It looks hilarious!!!
