I need some advice please

i went L & D last nite i was havin bad diarrhea i recevied 2 bags of IV i was on the monitor i had one contraction which made my blood pressure go crazy at the moment they told me again my uterus is irritated again i dont understand i dink plenty water i feel as though i cant retain my fluids they check and am still closed anyone have/had this problem am 26 wks

thanks for ur comments i drink coke something but if am on the streets when i get home all i drink is water i dont keep soda in the house like that am goin the doctor today cause i had diarrhea this mornin and i throw up the food i ate like yesterday evenin ihope my little son is alright bein sick is takin a toll on me i have hyperthyroidsim and i get anxious and paranoid very quickly and go in to panic and start callin everyone Cam Cam is movin so that's a good sign but with no appetite poor thing is probably upset with me

Pop, coffee, juice... they are all diuretics. That means they help dehydrate you. For every one can of pop you drink, you have to drink 8 8-ounce glasses of water to re-hydrate your body. I got this information from DH's grandmother who was a nutritionist and stays current with nutrition issues still.

A friend who was told she had low amniotic fluid was fed Gatorade by her husband...  I don't know what the answer is b/c there is a lot of water in foods that we eat.  Are you drinking other things than just water?
