IVF miscarriage symptoms

I did a 5day blast transfer and was confirmed pregnant last wk.  I'm at week 5 and had a throbbing pain on my right side lower ab for a day then dissapear.  I did not have any spotting.  I'm doing prgesterone injection, and estradiol.  I was told to wait until my next HCG to know if I'm still pregnant.  My question is could I have already miscarriage but could not bleed because of the progesterone injection?  If not, what was the pain about?  I don't feel pregnant and my breast seems to be tender on  and off, more at night and gone in the morning.  Thank you.

Thank you for your answer.  I did a have another HCG test and it was still positive and doubled from last time so I'm still pregnant.  I guess the pain was not  related to my embryo and probably due to a ruptured cyst?  anyway my breast still tender on and off but that's is probably also normal.  Thanks again Doctor.

Hello,

You'll have to wait for your follow up lab draws to have a sense of the status of this pregnancy.  Sure, the pregnancy could be failing, but there is no way to know that presently.  Follow up with your reproductive specialist.
