its really hard to ask the is this normal question. The truth is everything is normal for someone and abnormal for someone else...
My doctor was telling me that there is a normal condition that makes some women prone to light pink spotting after intercourse and during pregnancy and that its non harmful..... and normal for a lot of people... but even then people with this condition can have spotting that isnt normal? Science ... how helpful?
Its important to remember in early pregnancy there is little you can do besides take care of yourselfa nd consult with your doctors
It is normal to feel cramps during early pregnancy. With this pregnancy, early on I felt like my period was about to come, the cramps were very similar. And even later on as my uterus continued stretching, I was feeling cramps on and off.
I would worry about it if your cramps intensify and become rhythmic and if there's any spotting or bleeding. Try to keep your feet up and drink plenty of water. Good luck!
I've heard as long as your not bleeding/spotting, that it is okay because of the stretching and things going on in your body. BUT, since you said major type cramps, I would at least call your doctor since your having back pain.
I'd be resting in the bed if at all possible until you can talk to your doctor. For the most part though, my mother said she had cramps like that and everything was fine. Every pregnancy is different. Good Luck! :)
