I'm twenty four, pregnant with my first child and I'm 28 weeks along

I have had a hemorrhoid now that has been giving me some grief for about two days. I'm currently sitting on a bag of ice and alternating between hot and cold compresses to alleviate the pain and swelling. Do y'all have any home remedies/advice on how to make this go away (or at least stop hurting!) because I'm due back at work on Thursday? :(
Thanks in advance! :)

Witch Hazel is great! But before applying it, try multiple "sitz baths" a day to alleviate the pain and aggravation in the area. You can then apply Witch Hazel, and if that doesn't help, try Tucks or Preparation H. If it gets incredibly bad, tell your doctor and ask to be prescribed ointment with Lidocaine.

Witch hazel works wonders! And make sure you keep yourself 'soft' maybe use milk of magnesia for a few days

Sometimes to much fiber and not enough water can back you up too

Lots of water and fibre. If you don't have enough fibre in your diet, use a supplement.

Witch hazel or preparation h. It's really going to bother you after baby comes. 37 weeks now for me.
