Implantation Bleeding

My boyfriend and I are TTC.  I am 25 and have always had a very regular cycle.  This month, at least 7 days before my expected period I began bleed.  No cramps, just all of a sudden a decent gush-sorry for the vocab- not as heavy as my period, but definately not spotting.  That was two days ago, and about every third time I use the bathroom there is a couple drops of red blood.  I think I may even had clots.  I am praying that it is implantation bleeding, but what are the chances?? It would be wonderful to hear from others who have had heavy bleeding around this time with regular cycles that ended up being pregnant, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks so much.

Are you tracking your ovulation at all to help with increasing your chances of pregnancy?  You might want to check out MedHelp's Ovulation Tracker:

We really only have about 5 good days of fertility per month so the window period can be easy to pinpoint if you are regular on your cycles.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for keeping us updated.  Sometimes cycles change with the weather too.  My cycles used to always change in June or July during the summer for some reason.  Good luck with TTC, sending lots of Sticky Baby Dust your way!

I took an early response test this morning, negative :(. guess it was an early period, just have never had that before.  And yes the bleeding stopped, only 3 days, very odd.  And it was only red, there was much brown spotting in between bathroom trips.  Just going to try harder this month.  Thnx for the input!

Have you taken a test to see if there is any pregnancy hormones detected.  Are you still bleeding heavy?  Implementation bleeding is usually a light color pink or brown for some women, it's not usually blood red.  But there is always a possibility.  Keep us posted.
