sex offender??!!!

So where I moved supposedly they make you a background check, wouldn't that mean criminal status? Idk, but I just found out there is a sex offender "AGG SEXUAL ASSAULT on a 9 years old" living in our apartments where theres children everywhere!?? I know theres alot of people like these out there but whata hell!! Should I say something to the ladies in the front office, or am I blowing things outta proportion? :/ :S

he was set on moderate offense,, meaning he can strike again, not highly but in between. :-/ idk what to do. i feel so uncomfortable to go out haha,

Is definitely go to the office and talk to them about it. And tell other mothers around so they can also go to the office. I wouldn't want him living near me

If they have been convicted of a sexual offense thrn they automatically go on the public registry form for all to see. Chances are if he is living there around children there probably is no stipulation on his parole that he has to stay so many feet away from children otherwise he would be back in prison. Unfortunately he may have been deemed a low.chance to reoffend or his parole is done.

over here they have a ledger you can check online, it tells you if there's a sex offender in your area.   in america its nspow - national sex offender public website, you can check by location x

It depends,  too,  on what level offender he is.  Some have sex offender status but are allowed more freedom than others,  depending on their level of likelihood to reoffend.

I'm not sure where you live or the rules there but here they have to live with a sign outside their door that says that a pedophile lives there and they cant live within so many miles of a school or daycare. I would look up the rules where you live before you say anything
