A few other points on this general topic, from a popular herbology site:
1. Natural DOES NOT mean safe.
2. If you suspect you're dealing with an ectopic pregnancy, herbal remedies WON"T WORK. You must have surgery, and you need to see a doctor, no arguments.
3. DO NOT take essential oils to try treating yourself. You can die.
4. Be aware of the risks. If you really are pregnant, you may have to have a doctor perform an abortion if the remedies you try don't work. You can also cause harm that will damage the fetus for life.
5. The longer it's been since you've skipped a period, the less likely it is that any herbal treatment will work.
That said, here are a few other things to watch out for: http://www.**********.com/Abortif.htm

OK. Two medical students analyzed the Vitamin C abortion claim and found it to have no scientific or logical basis. Take a look at their conclusions, if you like: http://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/index.php/can-vitamin-c-induce-abortion/.

I haven't found any official medical research discussing the parsley claim yet, only anecdotes. But again, with herbal remedies, better safe than sorry. Badly done, herbal medicine can be just as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than screwing up with pills or drugs.

Hmm. A quick internet search says parsley is considered an abortifacient in large quantities -- we're talking literally sticking a bunch of the plant up in there, or drinking like 4-5 cups or more of strong parsley tea in a day, so it looks like I can probably keep using a little dried parsley in my pasta safely. Apparently some women have tried it to reschedule their periods around things like vacations and honeymoons.

Like I said before, it's all in the dose. You don't know what this stuff could do to your body, and any treatment this significant should be done under medical supervision. Also, to be safe, I would avoid chewing on a lot of parsley if there's any chance of pregnancy. Good luck!

I have heard reports that parsley has been linked to something like that, but have never tried it. No idea on the Vitamin C.

But if you're trying to use herbs to deal with hormonal issues, please consult a doctor, or an herbalist or homeopath if you prefer alternative medicine. Don't forget that just like any other medication, the effectiveness of herbal remedies is all in the right plant, in the right form, and the right dose. Herbs can do all sorts of things to your body if used improperly, and in any case, trying to induce a period without learning why it's not there in the first place doesn't help your condition get better.

Hope you figure it out and feel better soon!
