Inducing

Question

Ftm, 19 years old. My fiancé & I just split up about 4 days ago & I'm scheduled to be induced in the morning. I was never scared of labor or birth until I found out I was being induced & now I'm scared beyond belief. Any tips &/or advice would be amazing. Thanks :)

It'll be okay, just relax, breath, get the epidural if you need too and you will feel a lot better, even though you two split up, have someone there with you, you'll feel much more comfortable. And remember you'll see the face of your angel soon. I hope everything goes well and have a safe and fast delivery! P.s-I got induced my first pregnancy so I'm so speaking from experience ;)

I never mentioned anything about a c section? If it happens, it happens I reckon. But when I thought I was delivering naturally I was totally okay with  everything, but now that I have a set date to be induced & I know the pros & cons of it, I'm a nervous wreck. I've been wide awake since I've been in bed & Im just scaring myself I guess, on top of my nerves being shot from just splitting up this past weekend. But thanks ladies :)

Inducing isn't bad it's just a bit of a shock. With normal delivery you start having contractions slowly and then they start to get closer . When you are induced they happen a lot quicker so can be a bit of a shock because you havnt had the time to get used to the build up of contractions. But it doesn't make any difference oft doesn't harm the baby it just gets the ball rolling a lot quicker . Relax

A c section isn't bad either any way you deliver your child isn't bad lol I'm having my second c section soon  but good luck and you will be fine just make sure you know that wat you need to do and try to breath

Lol.Being induced is not a c-section. You'll be fine, it just jump starts labor so that you will start contracting and dilating. Congratulations,praying for a smooth delivery for you!
