Inductions?

Next wednesday im scheduled for an induction. I was wondering if any of you ladies ever had one and what was your experience like? Slow or fast? Etc… I had my first born vaginally w/ no problems. So this is all new to me.

Thanks :) last time they checked I was 2cm dilated and 80% effaced. I'm hoping it doesnt last more than 24hrs or I don't have to get a c section. But I guess as long as she is healthy i'll do whatever is best!

I did :) i went in at 8.30am and has my pessary at 9.30 and then started having contractions at 5pm that day! I was in labor for 23 hours including pushing for an hour :) i had gas and air and then pethedine :) it was my first but i didnt think it was that horrific but i was out of it from the gas and air! (Works wonders) :) Good Luck :) xxx

I was in labor for 36 hrs with my first and ended up in csection over failure to dialate.... I'm trying for vbac this time but Idk how it will go because I'm getting induced again since I'm over due

Did you get the epidural? They say that it slows labor down so I'm debating on this one. I got it my first pregnancy and labor was 10.5 hrs.

To me mine was fast, went in at 5am, got all set up by 7 and then at 11:43 my little man was born
