Ladies please help! Any of u ladies had or have a urine infection while pregnant? Does it affect the baby?

I'm actually finishing up my dose of antibiotics for UTI. We all worry about taking meds but honestly research the risks of leaving the infection untreated and you will feel less guilty for taking the meds. Plus if you're out of your first trimester I wouldn't worry as much even though i think you're safe no matter how far along you are

if ur scread u can phone nhs direct an ask them about the pills

I know but i got scared because she gave me alot of pills so i asked her what each pill was for and she snapped at me and said why are u asking me :/

I had a uti around 14 weeks. My doctor gave me an antibiotic to take twice a day for three days and then the uti was gone. I would listen to your doctor and take the pills. They won't give you anything that isn't safe for you to take and not taking them would be worse for both you and the baby.

if there called cefalexin they work but give you thrush witch u can use cream for

Wat are they called hun an yer I took them a doc can't give you pills that will hurt baby otherwise you cam sue them if anything happens to baby

My doctor gave me pills but im scared they might hurt my baby.. Did you take any pills?

I did go docs they wil give you some safe pill to help wit infecton baby wil be safe
