Insurance Suggestions!!

Make way to much for medicaid. What are my next choices everyone one that I'm seeing has a high deductible and a $500 monthly payment..

I would suggest talking to your local health department or family services to see what suggestions they may have for your state.
Also, see if there is a birth center near you. I know our local BC has options for families with no insurance. The total out of pocket to deliver there and be seen throughout the pregnancy is about $4500 compared to 3x that amount about the hospital.

Have you tried Blue Shield? My payment is only $260 a month and deductible is $4000. I pay only 10% for appointments, testing, ultrasounds, and hospital visits.

Try obama care I have caresource just4me in the state of ohio… I pay $98.87 monthly for dental,  vision and medical my deductable is only $150… prenatal care is covered after that is met.

i have blueshield it is horrible it doesnt cover anything.i actually had to get medicaid on top of that because blueshield doesnt cover anything until you actually pay $2000 worth of bills.

@momkat2014 you must have a crappy plan then, I just got a bill from the hospital for $1689 and all I have to pay is $89 because blue shield is paying the rest.

actually urs doesnt sound too good either u just said u have a 4000$deductible thats the highest deductible ive ever heard of. just wait until ur other bills start coming in.

What kind of plan do you have I searched the blue shield for my state and the cheapest I could get was 500. A month I wonder if plans a different for each state..

shes obviously is saying inaccurate things it doesnt add up she said she has a $4000 deductible &pays 10% but out of a $1689 bill shes only paying 89$ it would be $169 if she was paying 10%.
