A little background:
I am an organic chemist and currently work in this profession full-time. Before pursuing a degree in chemistry, I worked for several years as a teachers aide with special needs children who had: downs syndrome, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. This was a very rewarding job and I have fond memories from this time in my life.
I have a beautiful daughter, Jazmine, who was born in June 2008 and nursed/feed expressed breast milk exclusively for 6 months. Juggling full-time work, a new daughter, and nursing/expressing milk has been a challenging but highly rewarding experience. During my pregnancy, I suffered from pregnancy-induced hypertension and was induced early because of this. Several people that are close to me have suffered from a mental illness (depression, anxiety, schizophrenia) and I also have a strong interest in this topic.
I will be happy to help you, to the best of my ability, with any questions or problems you might have (either medical or MH-related). If you send me a PM, I cant promise that I will answer you straight away, but I will get back to you as soon as I can!
