Is induction worse than natural labor?

I've heard being induced can be a lot more painful than regular labor, so I'm womdering women who have had multiple children @ least 1 natural & 1 induced do you believe your labor was harder being induced?

My mum was induced with her 3rd child... She said it was slightly more intense pain but not too bad, and a quicker labour. I'm way scared of being induced as I love the slow progression of labour I've always had, it seems to ease my body into it and make it easy to cope... If the intensity was more rushed than that I don't know how calm I'd stay!

No it doesn't hurt. Any more or any less. I had got induced at 7 am & had my baby girl by 10pm same day. Every body is different.

I had a natural labor with my first pregnancy and it took about six hours after I came into the hospital. I had been in pre labor for about three days at home.

I had an induction with my second pregnancy at 36 weeks 6 days. It took 52 hours and I eventually had a cesarean. The pain was worse and the overall experience was worse. No walking, eating or drinking anything at all. Don't let it scare you though because everyone is different. Some people react to induction better than natural labor. I blame it on the fact that they induced me four weeks early and my body wasn't even prepared. I was only 1 cm dilated when I went in and only made it to 5 cm by the time they took me for the emergency c.
