@sweetpea419, yea same told me the doc. But she says that is for fish mainly. Because mercury is carried on the fish skin. The bigger the fish the more the mercury. Raw seafood should never be eaten period because that's just leave people open to parasites. I would never eat raw seafood even if I am not pregnant. That's scary for me. :-)
Thank you for your opinion!! ;-)

I was told that seafood is fine but should be limited to 12 oz per week. Never raw though.

Well ladies I only really eat King crab legs. Don't care much for fish, tuna or shrimp. I asked my Doctor and she says I can eat King crab legs once a week because crab less is the lowest in mercury, only 0.06 in them so is very safe to eat but she says eat them only once a week because even tho is very little on mercury eating them everyday can add up so is no smart to eat them daily. So I am pleased! :-) thank you all for your opinions!!!

My OB said the canned tuna is fine because they come from small fish. Just avoid the big tuna steak and raw sushi type.
