Is it possible to feel a flutter at 12 weeks?

I am 20 years old and pregnant with my first child. I was laying in bed with my fiancé this morning and as we were talking about pancakes, I felt a little flutter in my belly. Felt like nothing I've ever experienced before. I couldn't help but to burst into tears from joy. But is it really possible to feel movement this early?

With my first I was very thin and did not feel movement until 18 weeks. With this baby I am much heavier and felt baby move around 10 weeks if I were sitting in a certain position. So I call bull on how big you are determines on how early you are able to feel your baby. It depends on the baby.. my first was not very active and this one is very very active. I joked around at our 9 week appointment about how the baby moved around like flubber. I am now almost 27 weeks and I have felt baby move everyday from a very very early point. So I do believe it is possible.

I never got flutters with mine. I am really thin (size 6) and I was about 25 weeks when I started feeling any type of movement in both pregnancies.

That's just me though. In my opinion baby is way too small to feel movement at 12 weeks.

I first started feeling it at 14 weeks so if your thin I would say it could very well be flutters. It takes longer to feel the heavier you are.
