Jaundice?

Any moms had babys with jaundice , how long did they last with and how did it go away. My son is 4 days and i have to keep taking him back to the hospital to get his blood drawn every day. Im just wondering if any other moms went through this ?

My first baby had it he was under the lights in the hospital for about 5 days they kept adding the lights to him he had to go to the drs almost daily after to get his blood drawn as well. At leastbyou have your baby home i hated the fact that they made me leave the hospital and kept him there.

My little sister had jaundice when she was born. My mother had to stop breast feeding and they had us keep her in this incubator thing at home that resembled a small tanning bed inside of a little suit case for about two weeks. She is perfectly healthy and will be 9 years old on December 1st (:

Lots of babies have jaundice. How long it lasts depends on several factors. Just make sure you're feeding frequently and expose baby to sunlight.
