Jaundice?

Has anyone else had a baby that had problems with Jaundice? My son was born 5 days ago at 35+4 weeks & we got to bring him home yesterday after two long days under the light & we went back to recheck his levels & they were rising so we go back in the morning to get another test done & if they are rising then he is going to be admitted back into the hospital. I'm really scared & was wondering if anyone else went through this & their baby is fine. Thanks in advance!!

Just went through it with my little girl she was born at 35 weeks 3 days baby will be fine its just a pain cause you wanna enjoy your baby. Do the formula instead if breast milk it helps alot with their bowl movements an also see if you can do billy blanket from home that's wheat they let me do, doesn't hurt to ask? Only thing with that is every morning for like 5 days had to take her for blood work. Good luck

My daughter had jaundice problems as well its due to them not pooping out the beliruben its very common dont stress if your breast feeding it could be that your not producing enough for him to have poop so i would supplement with formula thats what the issue was with my daughter. Also because its been acouple days if hes been fussy have them check for urinary track infections on top of the dehydration
