Nervous about fiance leaving me for 4 days

We are headed back to Michigan. Once we get there, Cayce has to turn around and go back to New Mexico to pick up his truck and some other stuff to bring back. He is going to fly there, then drive back. It will take about 4 days. I'm so afraid that I will go into labor while he's gone and he will miss the birth of our first baby!!!!

Is there anything I can do during those 4 days to prevent labor from happening.. or things to avoid that may cause labor? I plan on taking it easy. I will be driving around alittle bit to search for a new house for us to rent. What should and shouldn't I do to make sure this baby doesnt come early?

35 wks. thanks girls!

thanks for your advice. And you gals are right, there's no reason for me to go into labor early so I should just relax and try to enjoy some alone time. I feel a lot better about it now :)

Just take it easy and be happy that you two are back in Michigan. I know it seems long be he'll be back within four days. Unless you deliver early you should still be pregnant when he comes back just relax and I'm sure everything will be fine.

Good luck.

Well it's only 4 days. One thing not to do is stress out about possibly going into labor. :P Stressing is bad and too much of it can put you closer to going into labor. So really just try to take it easy, relax and enjoy your time alone (even if you don't really like being alone try to take advantage of it) and just hang out at home, would be my suggestion... visit or invite over some friends/family to keep your mind occupied and you in a decent mood.. And over-all just take it easy.

I just want to tell you that having a baby on time is the NORM, not the exception. You're still in the 8th month and I wouldn't sweat it. When I was preggo with my youngest, DH went on a trip that was 16 hours away for a week. I was also 34-35 weeks pregnant and I was nervous the entire time.

Luckily my DD stayed in until two days before her due date. I would relax and take it easy!!!
