Just a quick question for the mommies here

How soon do you develope swoolen breasts and sore nipples in pregnancy? i had an semi-normal period last month but it was only 2 days long and one day heavy the next i was spotting. now my breasts are really sore to the touch, but the pain is mainly  in the nipple area. I was going to wait until after  the 17th or 18th of this month to test. I bought a new bra a few weeks ago could it be from that? im so confused...

The EWCM lasted for me for several days, then I was fairly dry even til my BFP at 12dpo.
the sore bb's and all started at around 12-15dpo and it first began mildly with sore boobs/nipples and now at 20 weeks almost, I have sore boobs everyday.

You can have the EWCM for days. The last day of EWCM is the day you ovulate. The mucous can also come and go. So you don't ever really know what day was the actual day of ovulation except in retrospect. Or unless you use a 2nd method of determining ovulation, such as an OPK or BBT.

I've had crazy sore breasts before and have not been pregnant. I will sometimes get it a week or 2 before my period.

Okay I re-read your post. If you're due for your period the 17th or 18th then what you're most likely experiencing is ovulation. You can get sore breasts/nipples during ovulation. Ovulation occurs approximately 2 weeks before your next period.

Are you having any discharge when you use the restroom?

Don't read into symptoms- they can be very misleading. Pregnancy symptoms are so common that they really could be attributed to many other things. Good luck!

It could be the new bra, it could be pms, and it could be you're pregnant. My breasts started hurting when I was about 4-5 weeks pregnant. Keep in mind that this was 2-3 weeks after conception. They count the first day of your last period as your first day being "pregnant", although you aren't yet. So it was about 2-3 weeks after I had sex.

You can usually get an accurate result on a pregnancy test about 2 weeks after unprotected sex. Usually around the same time as this the symptoms start showing up.
