Kidney pain

7 minutes - 0 comments - (Public)

Hi. I am 6 months pregnant. First I was diagnosed with a kidney infection now they said my kidney was a bit swollen. They told me to take Tylenol for the pain. I told my Dr. that it's killing my stomach. I asked can I take Aleve she said I can switch back and fourth to Tylenol to Aleve. When I went to ER I was told you never take Aleve while pregnant. I've tried home remedies, hot pack and cold pack and nothing is helping the pain. I need more sleep but I'm so uncomfortable. I go to the ER and they tell me take the Tylenol. It's killing my stomach. Is it true Tylenol messes up Kidneys as well and what else would ease the pain?

Thanks but it's not about Tylenol it's about being comfortable. I'm up a lot from the pain. But I appreciate your opinion

No Tylenol is the safest thing to take while pregnant, im surprised they didny put you on bed rest. Stay down though worrying about Tylenol is the last thing that should be on your mind
