Kidney stone

Went to the doctors about 45 min ago. Was having back pain and feeling sick dizzy and threw up. Well I'm at the hospital again second time in a week. And my doctor want to do a ultrasound on my kidneys to make sure I don't have a kidney stone. Any one have a kidney stone while pregnant. What happens?

Ugh i had kidney stones two weeks ago and i thought i was dying i was in so much pain.. i was throwing up nonstop and was in the worst pain ive been in since i could remember.. my ob prescribed me painkillers and told me i had to pass the stones on my own. i took one painkiller, drank ALOT of water, and went to sleep for two hours and woke up and peed it out.. after that i had absolutely no pain so obv i didnt take any more painkillers. my ob said its pretty common

Nope not usually . If its small enough u can pass it on our own. If it is too big they can place a stent but that's last resort. Mostly they just manage the pain and wait till you have the baby to get rid of the stone. It definetly *****! I've been on vicaden and percacet when it gets too bad but I've learned to cope

This is my third baby I had one kidney stone with my first and none with my second. It is very painful... they can't seem to figure out why I keep getting them so I just cope. They can definetly give u something for pain..so don't hesitate to ask. I'm so ready to be done..the kidney stones make pregnancy ten times worse!

I'm 28 wks and I've had multiple kidney stones since I was 10 wks. I passed them...I have had one now for close to two months and it won't pass. There is not much they can do when pregnant. I take pain meds when it gets way painful and drink tons and tons of water!
