Kind of TMI

okay so is it normal to have your discharge dry up in your undies to a yellowish color? Also it kinda smells fishy sometimes.. But not all the time. I have my doctors appointment tomorrow and I have a feeling he will just say it's normal but I thought I'd ask for your opinions first.

I had a yeast infection early in my pregnancy and I had no symptoms at all not even discharge or smell or any itching. Hope all is well :)

No problem! :) and yes definitely dont be afraid to bring it up. I use to be the same way until I realized that they deal with this stuff everyday and are VERY use to it. All of us deal with these feminine issues while pregnant. Take care. :)

The main thing they are looking for in your urine every visit is protein, luekocytes, blood, etc. Mostly to make sure you dont have any infections like a UTI or signs of preeclampsia etc. A fishy odor could be many things, and sometimes nothing. Could be a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, etc but your doctor will need to swab you to test for those things. Id just let ur doc know that u notice a different smell to ur discharge and would like to be checked.

Another question.. What do they test for in your urine every visit? Is it something that could cause the fishy smell.

The dried yellow is normal. The fishy odor may not be.
