LABOR story!!!
Payton kathleen has arrived! Hi ladies! Ok so here it goes... I came in on fathers day morning around 10:15 to get induced. When I first got here they checked me for dilation and effacement. Was still a half centimeter and 50% effaced. So they started me on the pill to get my cervix to soften more and dilate me. I got my first dose at 12:25pm then they had me on monitors until 3pm and let me walk til 4pm then hooked me back up. At 4:25pm I got my next dose of the pill. Well I watched a movie and contractions started happening some I didnt even feel. Well at about 6:30 I heard babies heart rate slow down alot! But kept going back up. Nurse thought maybe she was pulling at her umbilical cord. She watched monitor for awhile then said ok its back up again. My hubby got back from getting a coffee and trying to wake himself up a bit. Well he laid between my legs and watched a movie with me and her heartbeat started dropping again so I told him get off of me thinking it was how he laid on me.. I kept watching and it dropped to 50bpm and nurse came in to check on me again then another nurse then suddenly my doctor came running in said try to lay on ur side. She checked my dilation and said I was now at 1 centimeter dilated and a -2 stage. They immediately called a code C for emergency c section and I freaked out from there. They wanted her out fast since heart rate dropped so low. They took me back there had about 10 nurses/doctors total. There was no time for pain meds or to numb me so they put me to sleep I begged them not to I was so scared but had no option. I was fast asleep they started at 7:00pm and she was delivered at 7:03pm via emergency c section. Baby girl did amazing. Daddy was with her while they woke me up and took care of me. She came out weighing 6lbs 4oz 19in long with a full head of hair!!!!! :) im doing good as well. Baby is breastfeeding amazing and it doesnt hurt at all! It's so surreal that im a mommy. She is a daddys girl already and its soo beautiful to see. Im sore but doing very well I dont use the pain meds very often so im a champ lol! Congrats. Glad everything is going well. I too had a fathers day baby born at 6:25am. Brooklynn is doing excellent, I wasn't in labor long and barely pushed. Congrats again.

Congrats!!! Im sad it didn't go how the way you wanted but at least your baby girl is here safe and sound! I've got 9 days to go and I can't wait!!
Congrats ! It was all worth it. In the UK they sweep you at 41wks and induce you at 42wks ... i wonder if thats why they leave it so late. Congrats again to you and your hubby! I bet your glad your pregnancy has come to an end and you get to enjoy your bundle of joy ❤

Congratulations. I'm glad that you're both doing okay. Enjoy her, they tend to grow fast lol.
How many weeks were you when you were induced? That sounds tiny to me! Then again, I had an almost nine pound little tank lol.
@chevi93 it's ok u can anything they dont know y it dropped sadly but she came out fine an didnt need NICU
