Labor story!(:

Jaxen Dean made his way into the world October 8 at 6:28pm. Right on his due date and on his own (:
Everything started at 10:30pm oct. 7. Went into l&d about contractions and I was admitted. They were two minutes apart, but weren't dilating me. So at 7:30am I was given piticon to get things going. At 8:15am the doctor (on call doc. Mine was out of town) broke my water. That's when things really started! I was 4cms dilated and my contractions were over lapping each other! That's when I decided to get the epi. After that, things were looking good. Around 1pm I was checked for dilation and was told the the baby was stuck in my birth canal. I had to do some different things to try to get him unstuck, but it wasn't looking like it was helping.. At 5pm I began to push, the epi was wearing off and I had to have them add more medicine, a total of four times, throughout the pushing. I was pushing for a total of 2 and a half hours before the doctor finally decided to use forceps. The doctor had to cut me. And my cervix wore torn from Jaxen's head. I lost a lot of blood an had to have a blood transfusion. I was also very dizzy and threw up multiple times after giving birth. I also turned ghost white and almost fainted from all of the blood loss.. But it was all so worth it!! Bunnies came out weighing 7 pounds 11 ounces and 20 3/4 inches long. He is best thing that has ever happened to my hubb's and I and couldn't hope for a more perfect child!
