My water started leaking at 12:00 pm yesterday. I got to the hospital and was 2 cm dilated and 70% effaced. They started pitocin around 8:20 pm and within an hour I was at 3 cm and 90% effaced. I did have an epidural due to anxiety and other medical conditions. It was literally amazing. I slept until 3:30 am when the nurse came in, checked me and I was at 8 cm. at 4:20 am it was time to push. I pushed for 2 long hours and only needed 2 stitches. At 6:15 am my baby girl Emorea Laine was born. She weighs 6 lbs 1 oz and is 18 inches long. She was born at 37 weeks and 3 days. I'm so in love it's unreal (:
