Labor story

My handsome son made his grand entrance today at 3pm. Weighin in at 7lbs and 19in long with a head full of hair he's perfect. I started having contractions around 351am that were coming pretty strongly about 4 to 5 minutes apart. My water still hadn't broken but I went to L&D around 430am anyway. I was almost 3cm dilated so they had me walk around when put me at 4 very quickly and then they admitted me. The pain was so freaking unbearable. My plan was to go natural. As soon as I got to the register desk I was asking for the epidural lol. Received the epidural around  11/12 oclock and glory be to goddddd it was the best ever. Everything after that went smooth sailing. Started pushing around 2:40 and he was out at 3. I was 39w1d. Good luck to you mamas

Lol I know what u mean about that epidural. Imagine my first though I was 17 and she was coming so fast I didn't have time for an epidural. With my second I received one and omg it was like the best thing ever. I wasn't in any pain so I was able to focus much better on getting him here. Now this being my 3rd I plan on getting it, hoping it doesn't go like my first lol. I'm appreciate the women that decide to go natural, but unless ur in that situation with so much pain and unless u are able to concentrate really really good then tht epidural is a life saver lol. Congrats momma!!!

My son came today too! Weighing 6.2 pounds! Healthy except for the problems we knew he has which is hlhs and esophageal atresia! He came at 11:36 this morning! Only one hour of pushing, if that! But i got a 2-3degree tear. Unfortunately. But he came 37 weeks 6 days!
