Late Announcements.

Anyone else tell their families that they were pregnant late into it? If so, any reason(s) why? I know that's not a good idea, but... people are so judgemental. Family's sometimes the worst. Js. I didn't even really tell them, my dad kept questioning me about my stomach.

I'm 12w & only my husband's family knows. I don't know if I'm going to tell my mom or her family. My mom isn't so strict, but she's a **** talker & the rest of her family is strict & **** talkers too. I'll probably tell them towards the end.

I told everyone at 18w.
I wanted to wait longer,  but my fiance was too excited,  he couldn't contain himself. Haha
I waited for no particular reason. I just didn't want all the attention that comes with an announcement.  And the empty questions like "are you happy? Do you want a boy or girl? Are you sick? Ect"

I figured I was the only one going through this... which is pretty unrealistic lol. But, I don't feel so alone now. @tracetrace I haven't told my mom's mother, either. She asked, but I denied it. I also don't want to hear anyone's mouth. :/

I'm about to go in my 9th month and still looking for a way to tell my grandma (my dads mom) . she came from Alabama n she is strict so I just dk what to tell her. I know she's gonna get on me from not telling her from the jump. But I don't wanna hear her mouth.

We told everyone we work with basically right away.  I couldn't exactly keep it from my boss because I got really sick. I told my dad abd his family last week. And ill be telling my mum next week when I'm 18 weeks just because I don't know how she will react.  She doesn't like my husband.  But we are going to invite her to the anatomy scan and hope she will be excited

They were more upset that she waited that long than the fact that she had another child.

@PreciousSW How do you feel about it? Are you nervous? 19 wks isn't too late.
@nikkimamaofthree Were they upset? That's sort of how it is for me, but this is my 1st baby & I'm not living w/ my dad anymore.

Oh and she did it BC her parents are already raising one of her kids and knew they would be mad if they had to help with another.

My cousin waited til her baby was out and 3 months old. She wore really baggy clothes and kept the baby at home when she visited her parents.
