Light spotting at 5 weeks

So I started light spotting yesterday which I was freaking out as soon as I saw it (light brown in color). It's not enough to really worry about but still worried. I don't know if I should call my doc or just wait it out. I have my first appt in 2 weeks. Ahhhh HELP!!! I wish I didn't have a history of MC because this would be so much more easier on me. Haha!!

Its quite scary for sure anytime it happens but especially with a history of miscarriage.  When i first found out I was pregnant, for several weeks (and still now) I have alot of discharge all normal so far but I would run to the bathroom frequently thinking i was bleeding.. i still check for blood every time because another miscarriage is just a nightmare.

You could go to your doctor...  The way to think about the situation.. The doctor wont be able to do anything to prevent a mc if that is what is happening.  But if it is not a MC then going may show your numbers are rising and at this point you shouldnt be concerned, which would give you peace of mind.  Spotting in early pregnancy can be normal but as you would know it also could be sign of miscarriage. If you are going to be making yourself sick/ driving yourself crazy the next two weeks without knowing then go to the doctor now.
