It can take the average healthy couple who is actively trying to conceive 1-2 years before they actually do.
Not necessarily. Unless you know low sperm count is an issue it could be anything or nothing. Even having sex when you are ovulating only has a 25% chance of pregnancy. The egg might actually be getting fertilized but it might not have enough time to implant. It's impossible to say without seeing a doctor.
