Lower abdomen discomfort

This is my 2nd baby. I'm 34 weeks pregnant.
For the last 2 hours or so I keep getting strong menstrual like cramps in my lower abdomen. I get them whether I'm sitting or standing. I've gotten them before but when I would sit down they would go away.
I just need some advice as to what you think it may be. I just don't want to go to the hospital of its just Braxton hicks. I get them about every 4-5 minutes sometimes farther apart though. They have gotten closer, which is what worries me.
2 I don't want to go to the hospital if it's nothing but false labor bc my husband works midnight and has been sleeping for work and I feel bad waking him for nothing.
