Lower back pain

Hi ladies,

I found out this week that I am pregnant. Don't know my due date, but think it is around November 24th. I have been feeling fine until last night I started to have lower back pain. I can get lower back pain if I move to many heavy things. Not uncommon for me, but now I'm worried since I'm pregnant that maybe it could be a first sign of miscarriage. I have had 3 children and had never had a miscarriage. I do remember when I first got pregnant with my second that I had lower back pain and thought it was premenstrual sign, but turns out I was pregnant. Should I worry?

Thanks. I'm trying not to lift anything heavy. Sometimes it seems like just the everyday stuff probably made my back start to hurt. I did a urine test today to see if it was a UTI, but that so far is negative. Starting to feel a little better.

Lower back pain is very normal during pregnancy - if you start bleeding, passing clots, or have severe cramping that would be cause for concern.

Also, you should refrain from moving heavy things during pregnancy!
