I spend much of my SAHM time cooking. It is a bit of a passion of mine...
and if anyone has cooking questions I'm not being prideful but I'm %99 sure I'll have answers for you.
I've cooked for a family of 3-7 since I was 13... and watch literally like 3-4hrs of food network a day when I can.
Last thanksgiving I cooked for 10ppl and made about 11 different dishes including ham w/pineapple, and turkey. The turkey was so good even my stepsis liked it and she doesn't eat turkey!!
I make roasted chicken too...First line a baking sheet (1in deep at least) with foil turning up the edges to catch grease. Basically get your favorite veggies like :
Corn, Green beans, peas, carots and potatoes, onion, and garlic. Chop to small pieces (bite size) and mix with a little veggie or olive oil and salt, pepper.
Then get chicken breast (healthier) and leave the skin on. Add your favorite seasonings, fresh or dried and drizzle a little bit of oil on it and rub into the skin and underside (rib side). You can use deboned chicken breast, or bone in. Then roast in the oven at *375 for 45-60min. until the skin is dark brown and crunchy and the chicken juice comes out clear. let cool 5-10 min. and serve the chicken with the veggies as a side.
DH LOVES this dish!
I have plenty more. I do a "pudding cake" for birthdays. You get your favorite duncan hines mix and mix and cook it, then use a serrated bread knife to split the cake in half making 2 layers. Mix up a package of pudding whatever flavor that compliments the cake, but leave out 1/4th the liquid so it's a bit thicker than normal. Spoon onto the cake leaving a 1/2-1in area of outside edges on the cake so the pudding has somewhere to spread. Add the top layer, and ice with your favorite frosting. ENJOY with MILK!! mmmm.
take half red oninon, chop that thick. one tomato chop that thick. half chile serrano chop that too. put oil 2-3 tbsp(canola or veg oinl) in a heavy pan. put chopped onions in taht . when onions are bit golden in color put tomato and chile too. put some salt as per taste . some red pepper. i spoon suger.and if u have some dri dry cilantro powder and one gree cardimom.u can get it from indian grocery shop.ok then make it little brown. then let it cool. put the cool mixture in mixer grinder. put some vit d milk like 3/4 cup in that and make a puree. the put this mixture backin the pan . put a bowl of peas in it. keep it on med highh. cook for 15-20 min ulsess gravy is thick.when finished let it cool and put small cubes of fresh cheese in it. when u have to eat u can reheat in microwave. thtas it. ur royal cheese is ready. u can also use fresh cream instead of milk. its up to u.
any questions ask me.
