I usually get into a warm hot bath with bubbles and candles it relaxes me
I make myself some tea, and try to distract my mind. It seems elementary, but two things help me.
One is count your breathing. Count 4 seconds as you breathe in, and 3 out. Just think about your breath and feeling your blood pressure go down.
The second is a color scan when you need to keep talking to someone, but you're getting angry. Choose any color, and look around your environment for everything that color. It helps disconnect your mind a little so you can come up with a reasonable response instead of letting your mind boil over.
If I didn't go to a therapist before I became pregnant, I would be going inane right now.
Do you think i should go on depression medication? As well as talk to a therapist? Im going crazy like i know its things a normal person would get upset to as well but i just over react and have a hard time letting it go. Im going to try taking a nice hot bath today and work on changing my mind when someone upsets me. I never realized all these hormones had such a huge impact on you being pregnant.
It is though to get on medicine like that, especially while pregnant. I am like that too (although prego hormones have calmed me down a lot)
I was diagnosed with bipolar-schizophrenia, and they prescribed a pregnancy safe medicine for me at 2 months. And I haven't been taking it. The thought of medicine like that during pregnancy makes me uncomfortable.
But I plan on getting back on it afterwards.
Oh wow your lucky im usually so calm now im crazy! Lol but things are easier for you right now? I got an antidepressant i just worry something bad will happen if i take medication.
Everything is going well for me! I am so thankful it didn't backfire and make me double the crazy. Haha
I was hesitant about meds as well.. Your doctor will tell you they're prego safe, but I couldnt do it.
Taking any anti-psychotic cant be good
