Mini pill

Hi. I'm feeling a bit silly, but I've realized today that I somehow forgot to take the mini pill yesterday... No idea how as I have 3 alarm/reminders set in my phone! Dumb I know...

Anyway my dh and I did have sex the night b4 I forgot but that was only 2 day after af finished.

Three questions is it safe to take the second pill today? Should I take the morning after (can I even do that when bf?). And do u think given my cycle point I should be ok?

Thanks. Yes I know you have to be very careful with mini pill, hence my alarms... I just don't know how I missed it yesterday... Have a lot on my mind at the moment, which is no excuse but urgh! Silly! Can't wait to go back on normal pill but definitely not ready to stop bf yet.

It's my understanding there is next to no wiggle room with the mini pill, which is why it's extremely vital for you to take it at the exact same time each day. Use back up birth control (such as condoms NOT the pull out method) for at least a week or so while the pill becomes effective again. It's hard to say if you're safe or not, but all things considered (BFing as well as birth control) you likely will be.

I've taken the missed pill, an hour after today's pill. Hope that's safe, particularly for bf?
