Miscarriage Bleeding

Does anyone know how long bleeding lasts after miscarriage. Maybe an estimate. I've been bleeding/spotting for 2 weeks now. It has now turned brown for the last few days and I am so ready for it to be over. Any help would be appreciated. Is this normal???

hey Dragonfly,

I'm going through a miscarriage right now as well - i'm sorry you are too ... I've been bleeding for a week now - it's not bad i'm so glad i'm not cramping anymore that was painful - I was 6 weeks pregnant ....

I'm not sure how long it lasts for but at least your body is doing what it needs to do - just take really good care of you.
and if it's not heavy then i assume it's almost all out - but i'm not a professional so i dont' really know - does anyone know what that means?
Once it gets lighter does that mean that nothings left and it's flushed all the left over material out?

anyway our bodies are amazing things - i wish you all the best for next time.

My baby stopped growing at around 7 weeks.  My doctor offered me the pill (Mistoprol) to help induce the miscarriage.  I have been bleeding for a month now.  It's very light, but there is still some very small tissue coming out when I wipe. They took blood from me a week ago to see my HGC level and it was 400.  I am waiting to hear back from my doctor to see if I will need a DNC.  Hopefully you will not bleed for this long :)

I bled for 1 week after my miscarriage but how far along were you? I was only 4 weeks at that point. Sorry for your loss.
