Miscarriage? Passing Tissue?

Ladies...I need your input/advice.....I gave birth 5+ weeks ago via csection. After 3 weeks, DH and I had sex..even though I should have waited. Anyways, the next day I had twinges...weird feelings...and I told DH about it....thinking it was weird..but I passed it off as nothing. Well, today I am in the kitchen and I feel a small gush....when I went to wipe I had brown blood and this clotty looking thing......tissue..in the shape of a kidney bean sort of....almost looking like it has a little tail too.....is it possible I miscarried??? I called the doctor and they told me to keep it in rubbing alcohol til tomorrow when I come in for my post op appointment from delivery, and they are going to send it out. Nurse told me it sounds to me like an early miscarriage.....anyone had this happen. The tissues mass? was red in color.....

Any input would be much appreciated!

Okay Girls...it was leftover placenta....not that that is good..but thank god it wasnt anything else that I was worried about!!! U/s showed that there was no more in there...so no surgery required to remove anything!

If you had a miscarriage that early a baby would be so tiny you wouldn't see it in the tissue. I also agree that it was probably leftover tissue from giving birth. I had clotty periods the first 1-2 periods after giving birth, which is very normal.

Well Ladies...just got back from the docs.....she thinks its leftover placental tissue..but isnt 100% sure...they are sending it out to find out if its anything more.....I also have to have an u/s in 2 weeks to make sure there isnt anymore if thats what it is...so, have to wait for the lab to get back and let me know what it is...probably wont be til next week!

I am not sure, but I think that maybe it is just from whats left after the delivery, but it may be a miscarriage! Keep us posted on what you find out! I am kinda curious

My only thought is it could also have been some left over placental tissue.
