Don't know what to think or believe.

Hi Everyone!
Okay let me just start off with saying "I feel so stupid for asking this question, but I really want a professionals answer to ease my worries"

It was around 3 1/2 weeks ago when I had my last period.  Two days after I finished my boyfriend fingered me, and I’m almost 100% percent sure he didn't touch himself before.   However, lately I've been feeling very nauseous (mainly because of stomach pains - but usually I don't feel sick) , and my breasts are very tender and swollen (like they usually are before I get my period).  Like I have all of the symptoms that they say early pregnancy has.... but I’ve done research and they say the chances of getting pregnant through fingering are very slim (those answers were not from a professional but from just regular people).  I didn't get my period yet, but lately my period has been very unpredictable (like from the 9th, to the 20th, to the 3rd, and then some other wack day of the month.

I really just want to know what are the chances of getting pregnant through fingering, and how long do sperms live outside the body.

Thank you

p.s I forgot to add that i'm not on birth control
p.p.s. I'm still discharging thick white liquids does that mean i'm not pregnant?

Sperm can last for mere seconds once it touches the air so if he did ejaculate on his fingers you still have a very low chance of getting pregnant. If you are still worried, It never hurts to take a pregnancy test just to make sure.

Good Luck!

P.S. I am not a professional but I do remember asking me doctor the same question a few years back =)

Hi!
Acutally sperm can live longer than that--I've seen them under the microscope, but they do tend to die off fairly quickly when they get cold. As a professional, I have two comments:
Your chances of getting pregnant that way are less than 1%
However, if the two of you are that close to the "real thing" you may want to be proactive and get on some contraception before things go any further.

Also don't forget about Plan B
See my blog article (this site)

Good luck!
