My son was also having trouble pooping he took similac sensitive the orange kind n then his dr switched him to similac advanced the blue kind bt he was still having trouble poop thn his dr suggested putting suppositories on him n I wud put one. One day n he wud be fine for like 2 days thn constipated again soo thy changed his milk again to similac for spit up the lime green kind he he poops once a day n its like creamy kinda like whip cream lol bt depending on the poop color u cud tell if hes having stomach issues due to his milk. Talk to ur babies dr.

Formaula fed babies should'nt have watery poo, it should be quite thick and clumpy, the Baby Centre website has an excellent guide on baby poo for babies who are breast and bottle fed, and it even gives you pictures if you're brave enough to look at them.   Is he having diarrhoea when he does poo?    If so it may be that the formula doesn;t agree with him - you should speak to your childs Dr about it, see what they say.    I know formula is harder to digest then breastmilk so formaula fed babies poo less than breastfed babies but it shouldn't be watery x

I've never bottle fed so double check this but I seem to remember reading if the formula is mixed too strong they can get constipated. In hot weather they also need water between feeds so that they don't become dehydrated and constipated. Maybe a change in formula would also be worth a try. If not I would check with a doctor / health visitor to check that they're bowel movements are within normal limits. Some babies (especially bottle fed) can go as infrequently as 2-3 times a week. If its hard then its worth trying more water (at least that's what I'd be trying). Hope it improves x
