My birth story.
Little Leena decided she didnt want to wait till tuesday to come.
Originally, I was schdeuled to have a c section, yet on thursday I started labour and didnt know it. Went to my doctors appointment on friday the pain still felt like braxton hicks so my doctor told me if it gets regular to go in to my l&d. Needless to say, the contractions were still irregular except they were getting worse.
So the husband and I thought better to be safe than sorry. We came in waited for the doctor, turned out I was 50% effaced and almost 5 cm dilated.
My c section was done and Leena was born at 12:34 am on March 12th weighing 7.11 pounds.
Due to mucus in her lungs and stomach she has been in the nicu, this has never happened to me with my older two, but apparently some babies born through a c section can have this mucus...
Has anyone else expierenced the mucus?
