My poor hubby!!! OT-irritated

I'm a little irritated! DH was leaving this morning for a job interview.. He had his friend with him so he wouldn't be stuck in traffic alone. I only had 3 hours of sleep, so I stayed home. DH get's 10 minutes from the house and he get's pulled over for running a red light. But I know hubby and he wouldn't run it if it was red. He may barely make it..when yellow but never when red. Anyways, the cop says he ran the light when it was red.... gave him a ticket. For how much we don't know yet. But, the part that gets me is his insurance runs out on August 5th. He gave him a court date for August 12th! Usually they give you two months. I think it's messed up!! DH thinks he did it on purpose. Which I wouldn't put it past the police here. Their just di**s for no reason. No offense to the line of work.. ya know.. But still..

Oh and his friend that was with him (nick) is black. The cop makes him get out and searches him. Hubby said the cop was nicer to him because he was getting a ticket. But, he said his friend was basically harassed in front of him.
There was no reason to search Nick because he was not the driver and it was only a "redlight". I know that it can be dangerous to "almost run a redlight but get a ticket anyways". That's not my point. It's the fact that the cop just searched him for no reason. I'm not sure why he needed him name address and all that info too. He wasn't doing anything... When DH and I were dating a long time ago, we were with my cousin and her boyfriend. He thought it would be fun to race someone in traffic (stupid idea). We get pulled over....The cop didn't bother asking for our names, or anything... AND he got away with traffic school. But, DH barely makes a redlight, and get's a full flown ticket, and his friend harassed.


I'm just soo irritated. DH missed his interview, got a ticket, his friend was harassed, he's pretty upset and this all happened before 9:30 this morning. FREAKIN LOVELY.. It's been two years since DH got a ticket. And, I think that after two years there still on your record but the point is removed or something. THIS DAY KEEPS GETTING BETTER.

That's horrible, I'm sorry for his friend that got harrassed.  There's just too many ignorant people in this world and cops included.
Anyway I hope that the rest of the day gets better.

The ticket for the racing in traffic was my cousins boyfriend at the time.
