As long as your pregnancy is normal & healthy with no high risk the hospital really recommends if planning to go All Natural to wait out your early contractions at home until your water breaks or unless your contractions become consistent 3 or 2 minutes apart. If you try to head to the hospital before one of those happen you'll be sent home. No matter how painful the contractions feel remember there is no place at home, going to the hospital will not make you feel better ;) It will feel like it lasts forever but just know your body can handle it. We were made to birth ♥ much support to you, your labor day is special & priceless
I loved my all natural birth experience of 5 hours labor, it was amazing to feel my baby girl's body slide out. It hurts yes but you cannot have love without suffering. I had preterm labor contractions for four days before and I was nervous once my water broke because but now that I'm expecting baby #2 I ask not nervous knowing now what to expect ;) It was such av beautiful experience (no yelling in pain like they show in movies) I just pushed with all my might like a champ and what Really motivated me was wanting to know if I was about to have a boy or girl ... cannot express what a boost that gives! I pushed for 50 minutes. Once I saw the baby's crown (gorgeous flock of hair) and was able to touch it while looking in the mirror my fears left and I just pushed baby out! My hubby caught her shouting "It's a GIRL everybody! " He videotaped the whole thing (everytime we see it him & I cry). There's nothing like it, can't wait to do it again in May ♥
I did natural. My labor was 55 hours. It was painful but I just kept telling myself I could do it, and it really helped to have my husband and mother encourage me that I was doing wonderful. It gives you the biggest sence of accomplishment to know you did it naturally.
