If you aren't at full term, nothing will bring on labor. It happens when it's supposed to happen. If you want to be artificially induced, talk to your doctor.
I'm 37 tomorrow and my doctor is considering inducing me because of preclampsia, I would talk to your doctor! No matter what you do, babies are stubborn and will come when they want. My first was a week overdue and I ate a bunch of fresh pineapple took a warm bath and walked all over and my labor started that night .
Yea my friend lost her baby from using castor oil. I would just do lots of minor exercises or just talking to your doctor is the best option. I can be open to mine and tell him how I feel and he will work with me. Like how my baby was past due and so they did a membrane strip because I asked. So maybe your doctor will work with you!
Don't use castor oil. If your doctor will induce at 38 weeks, that is the way to go.
If you're so desperate then ask your doctor about getting induced soon.
So I'm 38 weeks and the reason why I was asking was because I've had a rough pregnancy this is my second baby, with my first it was so easy and he came exactly on his due date but this baby is a girl and it's been rough lol I'm so done being pregnant my last resort is castor oil some says it's dangerous? But I'm not quite sure I have to research more
I was passed due when I had my daughter 40 weeks and 5 days to be exact. And NOTHING would bring her out lol. But there are a couple of things that further alonged the labor. Walking always helped and they had me do it while I was in labor ( I was dying! I hated walking lol) and a yoga ball was fun but I never knew if it helped. I put on YouTube videos where women doing pregnancy yoga ball videos showed me how to possibly help go into labor. But all in all I asked my doctor if he could naturally induce me by stripping my membrane and it turned out he was planning on doing it that visit too! So just ask your doctor if you can get a membrane strip done.
