Natural cold remedies?
I woke up with a cold. I am due on Sunday but my OB did a strech and sweep yesterday and said I'll likely go into labor this week. I've been having my bloody show/ loosing my plug all day so I know the clock is ticking and labor is soon. I am allergic to cold medicines so that is not an option. Any suggestions for natural remedies to help me shake this? So far I've done a sinus rinse twice, drank lemon and honey and gargled with salt water. I do not want to labor with a cold!

Chicken noodle soup! It's actually been proven to speed up the recovery from a cold. You can sit in the bathroom witg the door shut with super hot water and sit in the steam it shoulf help loosen the mucus up a bit. Get lots of sleep and rest a lot because your gonna need all the energy in the world to bring your baby into the world (: hope you feel better soon.
Honey, cinnamon, herbal teas, humidify it out with a pot of boiling water and a towel over your face in the pot, SLEEP, and more sleep, sorry your feeling this way, good luck feeling better and with your delivery!
