So i am 18 and the other day i got my test results back. I am pregnant and around 6 weeks. I have no idea what i'm doing...i need a lot of help.

Thank you everyone :) I'm very very happy. It was tough to tell my family, im in my Senior year of highschool so everyone is "disapointed" but excited. The father is also excited. I'll be contacting my doctor very soon for more help :)

I'm 18 too and just for my positive, I have a doctors appointment in 3 days but I'd be around 6 weeks aswell :)

Do you mean pregnancy wise? Call an OB/GYN and set up an appt. Your first appt. will likely be a urine test, and blood test, and then your 2nd appt is usually your health background and the father, and your families, pap smear, pelvic exam, they may set up an U/S, stuff like that. Get you started on prenatals. Of course no alcohol or drugs, cut back on smoking and caffeine if you do that a lot, I wouldn't heavy lift in early pregnancy, most doctors will tell you that. They'll let you know all the do's and don't's. If you're not sure you want to keep the baby then explore all your options, good luck hun!! And congratulations! I had my first at 17, it's hard but so, so worth it. I just had my 2nd, I'm 21 and happily married to my childrens father, so work hard and you'll get through it!
