No worries. At around 12 weeks give or take the placenta starts absorbing a lot of that hormone that youwere feeling in the 1st trimester. Now you'll have a quiet period until you begin to feel baby kicks, etc. Sometime in the next month or two. Be thankful the sickness wore off! Some women get it throughout their pregnancy. Ugh.

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that it is common and normal for symptoms to ease up a bit as you enter your second trimester.  It doesn't mean that anything has gone wrong.  Many women worry that they are going to have a miscarriage when the nausea stops or gets better--not to worry--it is probably just that you are getting further along.
Sometimes I will check a heart beat for a patient who is worried--you might call your doctor to see(?)
Good luck!
