crackers helped me a ton when i was nauseous. one time i brought a pack of crackers with me to the mall and ate some in belk lol. thats really all i know. everyone's different as to what makes them feel better / whatnot. just try to eat things that are sustainable but easy on your tummy.
and like juliagulia45 said, those acupressure bands work WONDERS. at least they worked for me. they don't completely take away the sickness, but they take the edge off..and it takes about 5-10 minutes for them to kick in. i would try those...walgreens carries some. :) hope you feel better!! ill pray you do! :)
I am in week 7 now and have been dealing with much the same. Food is no fun right now. For me ginger doesn't touch it, but eating any kind of dairy product helps (milk, yogurt, cheese), eggs, applesauce, broth (with nothing in it, just plain chicken, meat or veggie broth), simple soups, homemade bread, tortillas, whole grain crackers, and strangely, Mexican food. I also find resting and increasing fluid intake helps. Keeping myself from getting hungry helps too, so even if I don't feel like it, I eat a little bit frequently.
I have been trying the acupressure bands with intermittent success as well.
Try drinking some Ginger ale made with real Ginger. It was about the only thing that helped me get through the first 13 weeks.
I also ate preggy pops. You can only get them at target online or motherhood maternity.
well unfortunately i have been going thru the same thing...before now i LOVED to eat and now everything makes me sick, i am nauseated all day long....The only thing that i have found that works a little is trying to eat applesauce. I read an article about eating applesauce replaces some nutrients that pregnant women lack the lack of nutrients causes nausea and sickness. This has made things a little better. I hope this helps and i am 8 weeks too....so we have a long ways to go hun :)
Try to avoid heavy foods. Breads and soups sit well. Ummmm.....try not to eat anything fried or really heavy in salt. They can make nausea a lot worse as well. Drink a lot of water as well to avoid dehydration.
